Fruity Christmas Tree

The final day is here and I need to apologies for the late upload. Today was crazy! This year I put my hand up to host Christmas brunch at my house. So at 530am I was up and on my was to Fresh n Wild Seafood at Portside to pick up my box of ordered seafood for tomorrow’s entree  Then to work to finish off the magazine orders and pick up my last little bits and pieces for tomorrow brunch. Luckily for me, my mum is here from Canberra for Christmas so she helped me prep everything…

Check out how packed my fridge is!

Today I want to share with you my Fruity Christmas tree, I got the idea off a friend who works at Tree of Life Nutrition . I thought it would be great to accompany my Aunties annual rocky road Christmas tree.

It very simple, a little time consuming but fool proof!

I stared with a foam cone and covered it with aluminium foil.

Then with mum on hand, I used toothpicks to attach cut up pieces of fruit on the foam cone, making sure I filled in all the spots.

I would suggest the easiest way is to scatter all the larger pieces of fruit over the tree and fill in the gaps with cherries, grapes and strawberries.

I did make a little bit of a mess (as you can see in the picture) but I think it was worth it!

Now to finish setting up the table and off to Christmas Eve dinner.

I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy and Healthy Christmas. Enjoy your day with your loved ones.
