What you will need.. (serves 2) 

  • 2 Pears
  • 2 cups organic apple juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 6 cloves

What to do…

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
  • Line a baking tray
  • Cut bottom of the pears so they sit steady on a tray


  • Combine apple juice and cinnamon and slowly pour over the pears
  • Add cloves
  • Cook for an hour re-basting the pears every 15 minutes
  • Reduce left over apple juice with a tablespoon of honey to form a thick sauce to serve with.

Serve with Chia Seed Pudding
